Introduction: A Journey That Defies Convention

Most people discover their passions gradually. Mine came in waves—unexpected, intense, and transformative. I’m Shivam Narula, and before I became a creative web designer, I was a teenage stock trader, a business strategist for my friends, and a relentless learner with a hunger for impact.

This isn’t just a story about design. It’s a story about curiosity, risk, collaboration, and reinvention. It’s about how I went from managing a bullish stock portfolio in 9th grade to crafting emotionally intelligent websites that convert.

Chapter 1: The Angry Bull Portfolio – My First Taste of Risk

In 9th grade, while most of my peers were focused on exams and extracurriculars, I was immersed in candlestick charts, earnings reports, and market sentiment. I had discovered stock trading—and I was hooked.

I built a portfolio that grew rapidly, earning the nickname “Angry Bull” for its aggressive upward momentum. It wasn’t just luck. I studied patterns, tracked news, and made calculated decisions. I learned about volatility, patience, and the psychology of money.

That experience taught me something priceless: how to think strategically under pressure. It also gave me a taste of independence—of making decisions that had real-world consequences.

Chapter 2: The Business Collaborator – Helping Friends Build

By the time I reached 11th and 12th grade, my curiosity had evolved into collaboration. I wasn’t just learning—I was helping. I worked with four different friends on their businesses, each with its own challenges and charm:

  • 👕 A clothing business focused on streetwear and youth culture

  • 💍 A jewelry brand that blended tradition with modern aesthetics

  • 💄 A cosmetic startup aiming to disrupt the skincare space

  • 🛒 An online e-commerce store selling designer shirts with bold identity

I helped with branding, strategy, customer experience, and digital presence. I learned how to listen, adapt, and co-create. I saw firsthand how design, storytelling, and empathy could elevate a business.

These experiences shaped my understanding of entrepreneurship—not just as a hustle, but as a human endeavor.

Chapter 3: Discovering Web Design – A New Language of Expression

Amid these collaborations, I stumbled into web design. It felt like discovering a new language—one that combined logic, emotion, and creativity. I started learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Then React. Then next. js I explored platforms like Vercel and tools like Figma.

But it wasn’t just about code. It was about crafting experiences. I realized that a website isn’t just a digital storefront—it’s a story, a mood, a conversation.

I began designing interfaces that felt intuitive and expressive. I obsessed over typography, color harmony, and micro-interactions. I found joy in making users feel something.

That’s when I knew: this is what I want to do.

Today, I’m a creative web designer who blends technical depth with emotional intelligence. But I’m also:
